Award-winning Adele-Marina Wilding is a multi-talented composer/arranger, songwriter, producer, vocalist and pianist. She is fast becoming one of the UK's foremost adult contemporary & crossover singer/songwriters.
Having begun her professional career on the jazz scene, Adele-Marina released two critically acclaimed, self-produced CDs: "Emeralds (& Other Little Gems)" and "Sketches On Blue" (Latter distributed by Jazz CDs: www.jazzcds.co.uk). Her songs, including her new acoustic tracks, have been playlisted in the UK, South America and Canada, earning her plaudits and increasing recognition on both sides of the Atlantic.
Born in Colchester, England to a Barbadian mother and white English father, Adele-Marina is a classically trained pianist and contralto. Her musical training culminated in the Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music Studies (performance, composition and arranging) from the renowned Goldsmiths College, University of London. She has since been performing in premiere venues in the UK and beyond: the Jazz Café, Rhythm & Muse, the Hackney Empire Bullion Room, the Troubadour Club (London), Rockers (Glasgow), Lady of the Lake (Canada), among others. Previous gig highlights include solo appearances at the Vortex Jazz Club and an acclaimed appearance at the Tavistock Music Festival, Devon, backed by the Anderson Jazz Quartet.
In October 2005, Adele-Marina won the inaugural BWA Nina Simone Award and was again nominated for this award in 2008. She has also been a Semi Finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest.
Adele-Marina is also a promising instrumental composer. Her works have recently been premiered by Edinburgh chamber group Red Note Ensemble at the "Noisy Nights" events, Traverse Theatre Bar, Edinburgh and most recently at "What Happened...?", The Arches, Glasgow. Sensitively performed by the RNE, Adele's classical works have been well received by audience members and the press.
In anticipation of her third CD, Adele-Marina released a new commercial EP, 'Portholes & Skylights', in March 2009.

As Christmas approaches I would like to wish you and your family a very special Festive celebration.
"Beautiful is the moment in which we understand that we are no more than an instrument of God; we live only as long as God wants us to live; we can do only as much as God makes us able to; we are only as intelligent as God would have us be." Archbishop Oscar Romero, from his last homily, March 23, 1980.
I hope you like my Christmas card and poem and additional card / pictures. May your love “glow.”

“Candle in the window.”
“A light as pure as an Angels Glow A gentle breeze sparks a flickering light to Heavens Path. Through the open window flies a brown majestic Moth He dances round the table cloth Fluttering flirtatiously enticed to the flame Like water to a cloud and flowers in the rain.
An aura of starlight Glowing embers of radiance so clear You take away the darkness The hopelessness, the fear.
Calming, graceful, romancing, dancing on the window sill A light for my memories Inspiration for my dreams A candle by the open window God Bless the Grace you give me A moment so serene.”
