PERFORMANCE
Ade has performed extensively as a recorder player, for which he has an L.Mus.A with distinction, and established himself as a well regarded session musician, primarily as a keyboard player.
He has worked professionally as a keyboard player with several acts including Jess McAvoy, Brendan Welch, Tobias Cummings and The Long Way Home, and 72 Blues, and has toured extensively both locally and overseas.
He has recently worked with several renowned producers including Marty Brown, playing keyboard and piano and singing backing vocals on Jess McAvoy’s ‘As the Sun Falls’; producer Paul Dempsey, playing keyboard on Brendan Welch’s upcoming debut LP; and producer Tim Whitten on Tobias Cummings and The Long Way Home’s unfinished follow up to Join The Dots.
Ade writes and performs his own music regularly with Melbourne duo The Tiger and Me, which he founded in 2007. The duo has produced and released a six-track EP which has received substantial airplay on community radio stations across the country, as well as generating interest on Australia's primary music radio station, Triple J, which has interviewed the duo, broadcast several of their songs, and featured them in Jmag as one of 'six of the best' roots bands on Triple J unearthed. On the back of the buzz generated by their first year, the band toured Canada in 2008 after being invited to perform at two major festivals in Vancouver and Toronto. They are currently preparing to record a debut album while continuing to perform regularly in Melbourne and interstate.
In addition to his compositional and performance activities, Ade has tutored third year Orchestration at The University of Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
