Ade Webb has been formulating his own brand of folk, beat 'n' roll for the past years in the hope that someone may listen. He sings with a loud talking voice, recounting tales of one-armed gypsy fiddlers, stilt-walking penny whistlers and the rest of the freaks reality left behind. He wields his acoustic guitar and tootles on his harmonica as if his life depends on it, and will continue to do so until someone offers convincing proof to the contrary.. Catch him before he splits up and releases some dire solo albums. For the record (as it were) the songs up here were heartily produced by Mr Paddy Tobin.

Now then dearest Gertrude, many thanks for your warmest wishes for me passing my millstone birthday. It was indeed an ocassion and a half. Although much of I remember not!
Once again treading the sacred, sticky turf of good ole blighty following my brief love affair with Ancient Greece. Aristotle said hello and asked me to pass on a message to you - "Stop nicking all my words for your f***ing songs" Message suitably passed on.
Alas, for the reds it was not to be, although that is more Shakespeare than Aristotle, for I could not think of a suitable quote....although "The Reds come Acropolis" is the best description of the event.
Must love you and leave you dear boy. I'm off to rinse my weary body of all the sins of the past days.
How's tricks? Just to let you know we've got 2 tracks up for free download, get them while you can. More live dates and new recording coming soon, thanks for your support, stay in touch!
Mr Ade, I see you are taking to the road once more, I shall do my best to drop in on on one of them. No luck getting a show in York then? Try the Black Swan, they’d love you there. Though love is a dangerous thing. They even have a folk festival in summertime. And another thing sir, how did the album go?

Well, dear Sir, I got the gig in question 'cos I know a chap called Joff who is a local Promoter. His promotions company is called CORRUPTION...its on my top friends.
Give him a message or something and he might be able to sort you out with a gig. He sometimes does acoustic nights or has acoustic opening acts on before more 'rock'esque gigs at various (3 to be exact) venues in York.
If you pay a visit to our fine city I shall be sure to make my presence felt!
I would like to take this opportunity to say that Your latest offering Jesus In A Uniform is a very fine song!
You are indeed an inspiration to the common man! A veritable Lower Middle Class Hero as it were. Keep on singing out your songs of revolution and we will follow! 'Til ev'ry God damned son of a backstreet whore in this fine land of England gets the picture, man!!
Or, alternatively, just keep playing your luvverly Folk songs. Either way, I'm happy.
long time no speak sir. if you want a gig in the asylum i can get you one. speak to nathan @ madjunglelove@hotmail.com and mention me about monday the 12th of feb 2007. x
