"Epoch" was originally formed in 2001. It was just a hobby for 3 ordinary guys that loved to create music together. After the band started, Adib Behjat, Liam Ruddell and Sinan Asad agreed to play at a school show in Choueifat, Abu Dhabi. Things started to kick from there on.
Epoch's main influence came from bands such as Metallica, Dream Theater, Opeth and many underground and under-rated bands such as Juliana Down and Nervecell. Not focusing on commercial rock, but targeting music that came from the souls and hearts of the members of the band, the guys started to pen their own songs.
After succeeding in completing, with rewarding results, their first rock show, they started moving to bigger and more professional rock events. The pressure was on to find a singer and drummer. A few singers came and went, but the band could not find the right sound.
Epoch was immobile for a few months while Adib finished his Music Theory studies in Armenia and the other members came back from the summer vacation. The band regrouped and pushed themselves into finding other musicians that felt the same way about their music.
Epoch came to a halt when the majority of its members left for education.
"Epoch and Adib Behjat" is a project where the guitarist, Adib Behjat, brings back to life the band Epoch in the music scene. The rest of the members, Simon and Liam, are recording solo materials as well which will then be contributed to the production of the album.
Ola senior! Mui bien, y tu? I finally could sleep for 7 hours ---> how AWESOME is that! Still the day turned out crazier, then I thought. I went to San Mateo to get some gift, when I got a phone call, that I have to pick up my hostboy, because he twisted his neck. Back home, I've seen the hamster-cage on the floor. The whole cage was broken and the hamster is gone... One of the cats was sitting next to the cage, licking his mouth. What am I suppose to tell the boy?? I think I'll buy a new one, when they are at the hospital, but I feel so bad :( Anyways, how is your day so far
