08.10.06 "19 Questions for 19 Days Without Sleep" is the newest song I've finished. I enlisted Jamie's help again with vocals (and of course she did a kick-ass job) although I pitched in this time as well. I wrote this song without a chorus as it's really just a thought process that consumed me on more nights than I care to remember throughout the summer. Hope you like it...
07.29.06 "Pictures and Photographs" is the 2nd of numerous songs I've written lately. However, this time I decided to hand the vocals off to someone else... my friend Jamie. She has an unbelievable voice that did more for my lyrics and the song than I could have ever hoped for. I was completely blown away when I was recording her. Obviously everything I write is very personal to me (especially this song), but hearing it come to life with her voice was surreal.
06.26.06 "Take Me Now" is the first song I've ever tried to sing on. I wrote, played all the instruments, and recorded the entire thing myself... I guess there is something to be said for total creative control :)
