About me:
In Japan Feb.03 was the day called as "節分 Setsubun" meaning literally seasonal division, the day one day before the beginning of spring. On this day every year special ritual "豆まき bean throwing" is held in various shrines or temples to cleanse away all the evils.
Below photo is the event of "豆まき bean throwing" held at Narita Fudoson Temole in Osaka. People is gathering at the temple to receive happy beans which are thrown away by some special guest bean throwers including popular Japanese actress Kana Kurashina(left).
I hope this year's bean throwing events were effective to throw all unhappy things from the world and keep our planet in peace.

Empire to me the hand! We want to dance. Empire to me the hand! You will love me. Like one single blossom we will be. A blossom, and, otherwise, nothing....
We sing the same manner. In the same tact you dance. Like an ear we will weigh ourselves How an ear and, otherwise, nothing.
You call me rose, I am called hope. You will forget your name. We are only one dance On the hill, and, otherwise, nothing...
To be able to practice five things everywhere under heaven constitutes perfect virtue...[They are] gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness, and kindness;Maria
Hello Dear My Friend, How are you ? Here in Tokyo we seem to be in season of end of winter or starting of springtime. In the morning and evening we feel cold like in winter but in daytime we can enjoy warm weather like springtime. I wouldlike to say, yeah, we are in early spring which is my favourite season that make us feel coming bright hope.
This song is one of my favourite Japanese famous songs titled as 早春賦(song of early spring), the words of which express well feelings of people who are longing for early coming of real spring.
Springtime is still in name only; the wind is piercingly cold. Though bush warblers among the mountains can hardly wait for the time, They also know that it's much too early to sing a spring song. They also know that it's much too early to sing a spring song.
The snow has started to thaw and marsh reeds have started to sprout. So, has sweet springtime come here to stay? No, it's still not yet with us. We still look up at the snowy sky as we did yesterday. We still look up at the snowy sky as we did yesterday.
My dear friend, I was on vacation and I took the last week to make repairs and painting in the apartment. It was a rampage. During the works, I was reminded of a famous Brazilian poet, called Mario Quintana. Once, Mario received from a great friend and painter a wonderful paint. Mario refused the grounds that he could not get it simply because he had no walls, only horizons.
Thinking about the depth of the poet's words, I hope that in 2010 we be able to break our "walls" and that in our eagerness, we accept new challenges as they are the key to new horizons. There is always an angle not yet tested by our vision.
