About me: Just starting out this page, Im an adoptee and Ive researched a few things, I haven't found my family yet but I've discovered that if most of NYC adoptees shared their searches, and different ways on how to find their birth family myspace.com is perfect ground to start. A little about me:
I am 19yrs old, an adoptee from the Bronx and I suffer from a form of lupus, which is hereditary. It took years, ever since I was a little girl I suffered with debilitating joint pain, to diagnose it. I soon learned to bear the pain when I took Up dance. Im a kind hearted person, I try to help people in need.
Why I choose to Create this page:
I choose to create this page mainly because other adoptees may feel the same why i do, not knowing your own personalilty. In family, everyone pretty much acts the same, in this adoptive family i feel like an outcast, no one speaks to me because I "do weird things". Anyway, also the way I feel, I always wanted to have someone close to me, a mother, a sister or brother. I just want every adoptee to have a chance to find there family just like I want to find mine.
There are people out there that have hereditary illnesses, who wish to find there birth family or parent to get answers.
I promote open adoption
Who I'd like to meet: My birth family, it starts with my birthmother, I dont know my birthfather.
