Seasyp is an Association that conducts search for birthparents and for adopted children as well. The need of thousand Greek people all over the world that had been adopted during the 1940's, 50's and 60's -years of economic and social turmoil- to discover their family roots and the need of their birthparents to find them created SEASYP Association. SEASYP was founded in 1995 by a group of adopted people and has up-to-date two thousand members. After many fights it accomplished the change of law concerning the adoption and secured the ultimate right of every person to be able to search for its birthparents as well as the obligation of all the responsible services to furnish him with every information about his roots. Seasyp, while having a great cooperation with the Athen's Orphange, has helped hundreds of its members find their own people and has filled the gap that existed in their lives.

My grandchildren are 1/2 American mutts & 1/2 Islander's. 'We' as a family keep them educated to their birthright even not being adopted. It is important for children to KNOW where they are from*

“Halt”, I cry to no avail. Silent am I against this endless storm of confusion

Passion. Frustration. I seek to break free from these chains that bind

And yet…have I somehow granted permission, or chosen to accept this illusion

Perhaps I wax too philosophical, attempting to assuage the fiery beast unleashed

For a moment of peace…I will let it go…
