AdoptiveMusic.com brings you the best in Adoption themed music & songs specifically related to the adoptive family experience, created by artists whose lives have been touched by the miracle of adoption.
Our Mission... That's simple...to provide a central resource for adoptive parents to find music that best expresses their own family's story. It is our desire to provide music, that when played, causes the listener to say, "That's my story!" "That's exactly how I feel!"
Our first release, "Lullabies - For China's Daughters & Their Adoptive Families", is meant to soothe your little one by bringing words of hope, safety, and home while also capturing the deep emotion and feelings parents have for their child.
Our second release, "The Spirit of Adoption," is a more general adoption-themed compilation featuring some of today's biggest names in Christian music. And yes, these are the original songs by the original artists. Multi-GRAMMY winners Steven Curtis Chapman & Sandi Patty, along with Geoff Moore, Rita Springer, Todd Agnew, and many more help make up this one-of-a-kind collection.
For founders Chuck and Lynette Giacinto (a.k.a. Final Quest), music is more than just an endeavor, but rather the perpetuation of their daily lifestyle: one steeped in infectious enthusiasm, artistic liberty, and above all, worshipful reverence. Born out of leading worship in their Illinois centered home church, Final Quest’s initial nucleus consisted of Chuck’s pensive songwriting sensibilities and Lynette’s ethereal charm, which soon evolved into concert environments throughout the Midwest. At first the group started on a small scale, honing their chops in area coffeehouses and churches, but as their on stage dynamic and interactive chemistry grew, so did their performance opportunities. By the mid-90’s, Final Quest made it to the festival circuit performing with Christian music’s genre spanning elite, including Third Day, Kathy Troccoli, The Newsboys, Sonic Flood, Building 429, All Star United, Cheri Keaggy, Out of Eden, Bryan Duncan, Jaci Velasquez, and many others. Chuck currently plays keyboards for Kevin Chalfant & The Storm & The Voices of Rock Radio. Adoptive Music comes as a result of how the miracle of adoption has become a part of their family story, as well as their musical craft.
"From the beginning of our adoption process, we knew one thing - that we were on a road to new discoveries. At a time in our lives when we thought we were done having children, little did we know that China had a child beckoning us. Dani, who we have only recently been united with, is a part of us. This music is an extension our love. Music, worship in particular, is what we live for. So, just as everyone has a gift, this is ours, not only to Dani, but also to all adoptive families. As in Romans 8:15, thank you, Father, that we "have received the Spirit of adoption".
