I'm a freelance webdesigner, writer and artist, native to the Florida panhandle and living in Jacksonville for the time being. I'm a southern girl to the core, but completely unlike any of the stereotypes that go along with that label. Liberal, cultured, creative and rebellious, I am absolutely in love with so many different things that it would be impossible for me to list even half of them.
I'm in love with building web sites and designing graphics, the very definition of a computer geek right down to being obsessed with World of Warcraft and possessing the ability to discuss proper software implementation or database configuration for hours without even a hint of boredom.
Beyond the web sites I build for others on a freelance basis, I also maintain several successful website communities of my own, ranging on topics from musicians to writers and many other things.
That is only the beginning of who I am though. I love music of all types, wildly vacillating between dozens of genres because I just can't get enough of it in all of its manifestations. My favorite genres are probably classic, folk and southern rock, but I happily listen to everything from death metal to easy listening, country to hardcore rap, soul to punk rock, traditional world music to gothic and industrial and so many more. There probably isn't a type of music that I DON'T like, with the exception of techno and house, which just gets on my nerves.
Beyond that, I'm extremely interested in quite a few books and movies, good food, having fun, live music, friends, politics, philanthropy, history, philosophy, art and pop culture.
I love people and being as social as possible as much as I can. I have the greatest friends in the world… lucky enough to have held onto many friendships from my childhood and fortunate enough to find new and wonderful people to be close to every day.
