Mainly just a guitar player, but due to the lack of musicians to fulfil my view I'm taking a step towards "poli-intrumental" musicianship. Former guitar player to bands like Akbal, Lethean, Lilith's Mortuary, Helveleth (With whom I still work with, as a session guitar player), and with 6 years of playing experience. Started with classical guitar teachings, but thanks to my newly discovered genre at the time: "Metal", I decided I just wanted to make some loud music and not to study why it sounded like that. After a couple of years of this way of thinking, I finally run into my new genre of preference: "Progressive metal".

Long time friend and former bandmate, always striving to improve his writing and singing abilities, thus the first choice to be the lyricist and harsh vocalist for the first release of Adras. Although living at a 10 hour or more drive from the El Paso/Juarez region (where I live), the energy and input he grants towards Adras is quite significant, and will act as "consiglieri" through the making of "The Frail". A former band mate from my days at Akbal, and in my opinion one of the best drum players in the Juarez/El Paso area, with a great view of the final idea when it is simply starting. Adras is simply a metal music proyect, and is the brainchild of former Lilith's Mortuary, Akbal and Lethean's guitar player, Hector Marquez. The project first started on mid October of 2007 after Akbal's disbanding, and is currently on intensive composing towards the release of the first album, which will be a conceptual work titled "The Frail", presumed to be released in late 2008. A demo is scheduled for early 2008, to be titled "Pre-emptive Echoes", it will feature 3 songs not to be included on "The Frail". Some guest musicians are already enrolled in the project, at least as far as "The Frail". An example is former "Lethean" singer, Eidan Rodriguez, who will be singing and writing for Adras and Francisco Ortega, former "Akbal" drummer who will take on the drum playing duties. Although the music is mainly composed by just one person, Adras might venture into live playing with session, or guest musicians.

So fall is finally here and we just wanted to stop in and see how you have been. We are writing the new album at the moment and we might be going out on tour soon once again.Its all politics when it comes to touring so who knows.
