| General | travelling, programming/producing, live shows/music. i also like going out and dancing.. or going to the lake with friends and fishing. late night random coffee shop outings and meeting interesting new people, especially passionate people. | | Music | producers: underdogs, neptunes, timbaland, just blaze, scott storch, john shanks, max martin.. rick rubin, daniel lanois.. artists:.. ? who knows.. desert island records: boys for pele, homogenic, secret world live, did i say boys for pele?, and lots and lots more i can't think of right now. i have to be honest and say that all these weird indie bands aren't really my bag - i mean, i can get into them sometimes, but mostly i don't.. but some I love.. and raw talent is raw talent.. I guess I just don't like music just because it's indie and nobody has heard of it.. and i'm not going to pretend anymore! most recently in my car i've listened to copeland, bjork, then.. justin timberlake, pussycat dolls, jojo, keyshia cole, omarion, missy, anything you can dance to.. emmylou's wrecking ball (did I say boys for pele?), postal service, and yes, nsync and britney spears. and yes i know all the adlibs on no strings attached, -and- i own the DVD. there. i said it... but most of all, vitaminsforyou is my hero. | | Movies | i enjoy scary movies (emily rose, skeleton key, saw) but not grotesque ones (devil's rejects - i regret seeing that!). also art film.. or movies that are just visually stunning. i saw the new harry potter - and i have to confess, i really loved it. haven't really seen the other ones, but just visually it was beautiful! i don't have any classic favourite movies.. 'the never ending story' maybe. or 'a far off place' which was the first reese witherspoon movie i saw as a kid (i think she was my first celebrity crush! i must have been 10.. hmm I also had a crush on Kat from Casper.. i think that was nina ricci.. wait is this TMI? i was a kid!) Oh.. yeah and I love the neverending story.. the original one. | | Television | 24, scrubs, arrested development, the (english) office, sometimes smallville.. chapelle show... but really i don't often watch tv. we're on the road so much, all i can do is watch the box sets if i really feel like spending $50 on them, which i don't usually (but I did on 24.. yay) | | Books | i'm not reading interesting books.. a couple on money.. one on industrial design. I recently read Coupland's 'All Families are Psychotic' which I absolutely loved. And then the ol' GQ, dwell and paste.. you know |

About me:
...what can I say? so.. i do music.. play drums, program/produce, i live in nashville now.. produce records and do custom programming work. I also tour with an artist named mat kearney doing production manager / engineering stuff.. club shows, some bigger tours (john mayer, jason mraz, sheryl crow..) good times.. i like all kinds of music, musical theatre, performed arts.. whatever gets the emotions happening. i've been working on pretty commercial music mostly but somewhere inside i feel like working on a super arty record, who knows. but i do love music, and love producing - the studio is my favourite place to be - actually, check out popmachinemusic.com - it's my production company. i also travel a lot, with the band mostly and sometimes personally. that's all i've got for now..!

Long time no talk... SO I was just talking to my friend the other day about this concert we are going to coming up. You see we are going to this concert on May 1 and were realy excited about it. Then we had a starfield album on in the background and I was telling her how I missed you and Shawn and then I thought and put the two together.... The concert is John Mayer in Vancouver and Wern't you on tour with him? Could you possibly be coming to Van! Do tell, Do tell!!!
