Texas-based Pearl Records doesn't release too many projects, but when they do, history shows them to be top-notch. Take Kim Burrells Try Me Again for example. That low-profile CD stopped enough Gospel heads in their tracks that she now finds herself legitimately billed as one of Gospel's top divas (now on Sony).
Pearl CEO Sadie Jackson unveils another Texas gem in Adrian Medearis and God's Anointed People (GAP). Thoroughly contemporary and yet sometimes gilded with classic Gospel and traditional edges, the choir shines throughout their soon to be released album "The Journey".
Director and songwriter Adrian Medearis brings the maximum out of the GAP's 15 members, with the resulting sound being solid, heavy, and resonating with that unmistakeable East seaboard choir influence (as exemplified by James Hall and WAP or Craig Hayes and United Voices). It's unusual for a Texas-based group to take on the mantle of that sound, but they do it naturally, and they do it well.
As stated by GospelFlava.com, God's Anointed People is definately a group 'to watch'.

Alright, It's testomony time!!! I'll start it! LOL! First giving honor to God, who is worthy of ALL MY praise! I had not mention this to many people, cause God didn't lead me to. But after my surgery, My docotor told me I had cancer. Told me I was in the 3rd stage.... Sent me to a specialist, had a procedure done 2 Monday's ago to see just how far the cells had grown....The Specialist called me from her house that Friday morning and said "I know your a praying women, but I just don't understand this...Your report came back negative! She said I know what I saw..." But the test came back cancer free!!!! Glory to GOD!!!!!! Even if the situation was different, He's still faithfull & Just! I LOVE HIM!!! God IS still working miracles today! I wrote about this Scripture back in Sept. but it applies with this testimony...

God says that the more hopeless your circumstances, the more likely your salvation....LOL! aint' that good news, for those of us going through...LOL! The greater your cares, the more genuine your prayers.....The darker the room, the greater the need for light....
God's help is near and always available, but it is only given to those who seek it....
Faith is more that a belief in God. It is also a way of life. The examples in this scripture although imperfect, trusted God and gave their lives to Him...*smile*
