I like writing, joking around, drawing comics, stand-up, making movies and sketches. You can find it all here.
Influences
My friends and pretty much anyone I come in contact with on a daily basis who makes me laugh.
TV Shows
I was an extra in Dolly Parton's music video "Imagine." I think it was on TV. I'm constantly bragging about it, so I really hope so.
Oh, and another time, when I was 10 years old, I was watching KTVU news and I thought I saw our family's car drive past in the background. ... When I think about it now, it was probably just a look-a-like. Damn. At the time it was pretty cool, though.
Albums
High Socks: "We're clearly wearing socks"
It's a sketch-comedy album co-starring Devin Katayama.
Adrian Palenchar's Interests
General
Comedy. Writing. Not dying. The last, crusty, bite of corn-dog batter left on the stick. Hose water. Being outside. Peeing outside. Cut-off shorts. 8-bit Nintendo. Bicycles. Thrift stores. Sports. Laughing.
Music
I'll listen to almost anything, depending on my mood.
Movies
Comedies because they are short and sweet.
Television
Don't own one.
Heroes
My parents. Adam Sandler. Tina Fey. Shel Silverstein. Pretty much anyone who does what they love.
About me: Enough about me, here's what's on this site. It's a collection of videos, comic strips, writings, audio tracks and pictures. The entire High Socks sketch-comedy album, as well as random video clips, is under view all clips. Comic strips "Party Time?" (published in The Set List http://thesetlistonline.com/) and selected "Photomix" (published in The Orion) are under my pics. A few short stories and more writing are in the blog. Hope you enjoy it.
I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

Awe, check out the following article. It's a debate between one of my favorite writers, Malcolm Gladwell (who was also the keynote speaker at my NY conference), and I think one of your favorite writers, Bill Simmons.
OK...just watch "how he see's it" and your Easter & Pastels...sorry it took me so long, but better late than never! Awe...you are hilarious! I seriously hope we can get to one of your shows soon....you've devoted a lot to it, and clearly this is what you are meant to do!
How was Lake Sonoma? I haven't been there in a long time. Excellent fishing towards the back end of the lake though. I have found a few Berryessa launches that are still open on the south side of the lake!
hey I don't know if your online right now, but I have always thought that bands should incorporate stand up comedy during shows, you know? like the bullshit 20 minute wait that many fans have to go through between sets from the opening band and main act? wtf? why dont they entertain people with stand up comedy from a comedian? for like 20 minutes? I mean I just think concerts tend to be to predictable, Anyways I got videos on my music page so you can see where I am now on my skills... anyways just message back on here what you think, there are originals and covers ranging from 80s music to now... anyways peace out! I need to see you live soon! also the company im signed to is SF based so i'll let you know next time im in SF

Hey dude! Sorry about the no call-back on Sat...I was in Modesto with the fam. Hope the party was fun though. When are you heading up to Sonoma? Maura, Heidi, and I (and hopefully more) are going to the London Lodge on Tuesday night for a little Christmas Eve Eve celebration...
its official! we bought the tickets today- i will be sure to bring you some snow for christmas since cali is not excatly a winter wonderland. see you in december!
How are the comedy shows going AWE? Do you have any sports material to include? Angie and I are climbing Mt. St. Helena for our Anniversary on Monday. On a clear day you can see SF. I'll wave from above. Perhaps call assuming I'll have reception.
Yup that is our tentative plan....we are thinking of driving up to Ohio the 20th then Loren is flying out the 23rd...and I will come out the 26th and we will both leave the 30th back to Ohio. im pretty excited because i dont remember any xmas time which did not involve mounds of snow and below 20 degree weather so palm trees at xmas will be a treat.
hi adrian! loren and i watched your new video last night and we LOVED it. we couldnt stop laughing the entire time...we're spreading your videos down here showing all our friends whenever we get a chance too so now you can be on both coasts :)
