About me:

Born in 1970, I grew up in a rural community in North Dakota. I do believe I started the art of female impersonation "unprofessionally" in my pre-teens - finding it easy to remember the words to songs, I found myself lip syncing on the front porch wearing my mothers red open-toed high heeled shoes and making hair out of panty hose stuffed with tissue as pony tails.....ahh, good times...

In 1988, my senior year of high school, my family moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan. That is where I graduated from high school and started to rebel. On a path to find myself, I made a new set of friends and started to live life. One Sunday night, my friends and I went to Grand Rapids, Michigan - to a club called the Carousel Lounge - and that's where my alter ego was born. I entered a lip sync contest....and was absolutely horrible! *(Tell me what queen was fabulous on their first try...) Not giving up easily, watching others, learning from my mistakes, and clawing my way to the top, I finally had found something that made me feel complete.

After being in Michigan a few years - I moved on to Chicago for a short while and finally found my way to Arizona in September of 1991 where I took the art of female impersonation seriously and became a new found talent.

I have worked with some many wonderful people in the entertainment industry - and I look back and thank each and every one of them for giving me this opportunity to share who I am today. Success does not come easily - and I continually find myself wanting to improve, as one should. One could say "been there, done that...." in my case, it's "done it, seen it, and will keep doing it....lol."

I made Arizona my home for 16 years - working a full time job, traveling to entertain, competing in pageants, sewing costumes for myself as well as others, rhinestoning, beading, styling hair, mixing music - you name it. It's my life - and I am happy that I have it.

I now reside in Portland, Oregon where I continue to work and perform. I have a very successful costume business and am a distributor for wigs and rhinestone jewelry here in the NW. I special guest throughout the town in various shows at Darcelle XV Showplace & with the Superstar Diva's at CC Slaughters on a regular basis. I also host my own show called the "A.A. Meeting" at my home bar - The Ember's Avenue - every Thursday night. I am an active member and titleholder with the Imperial Sovereign Rose Court and value the history and legacy that the organization offers.

I have been very successful in my female impersonation career capturing many pageant titles.... Miss Gay Pride Tucson 1994, Miss Arizona Gay Rodeo Association 1995, Miss National Capital Cities Plus 2006, Miss Gay Tucson America 2007, Miss Ohio Continental Plus Representative 2007, Miss Illinois Continental Plus Representative 2008, LaFemme Magnifique Plus Portland 2008 and the newly crowned Miss Gay Oregon XXXVIII of the Imperial Sovereign Rose Court.

This website is designed to enlighten, inform, remind, and most definately entertain everyone who comes across it. Enjoy!
