  • Bio

Birmingham based Metal band Adust formed in the Autumnl of 2006, since then they have been playing shows in the Midlands and beyond promoting their music. Their first EP 'Through Another's Eyes' gained them a stong local following and fans all over the UK, This release gathered praise from many industry professionals such as Metal Hammer, Kerrang and Powerplay and at the time they were also only the 2nd unsigned band to have their music approved on sale in store at Virgin/Zavvi. The band shot a music video for their track 'Forevermore' which again gained them great exposure with Scuzz.com & Rockworld.TV with the video going straight to the top of the 'Voted Best' section over at scuzz. This video is STILL in the number one spot over 2 years after being uploaded! Since then the band has gone on to headline many shows and play along side bands established bands such as Sonic Syndicate, Exit Ten, Forever Never, The Hollow Earth Theory, Bury Tomorrow, Hospital Of Death and Blaze Bailey to name just a few. Adust finished recording their second EP 'Question the Illogical" with Producer Chuck Creese in the summer of 2009, which coincided with them signing to independant label Glasstone Records. At the time the band released this statement... "...we are all excited to be working alongside such a great hard working label, they are home to some great bands and its our honour to be added to that list" Adust have also released the video for 'The Evil That Dwells Within' which is taken from the E.P Question The Illogical and shown on the Scuzz TV Request Show. Adust are currently booking gigs and are looking forward to travelling the country playing and promoting their Music, they all have a huge amount of passion for the music they play and are excited to what the future holds.

Hello Adust . Promote your upcoming gigs for free on my website www.metalgigz.com. It will always be free to use. The goal is to try and have as many gigs located on the one website so there is no more frustrating searches for shows. Help spread the word, so far there are 90+ bands already using the site, but this has potential to be huge. Also have a Facebook page. www.facebook.com/Metalgigz

Quotes about “The Mirror of Deliverance”:

""Os Vultos" it’s a melo-recitation song in Portuguese with a moody guitar riff ... Its calm and has an excellent spiritual stability ... With brutal vocals comes a drama accompanied with a sublime melody only to turn calm again. It’s remarkably calm, warm and very minimal with a long guitar solo involved in reverb and echo. It’s beautiful in this gentle that radiates in every second. 10/10” In Melodic Metal Sound

“The melodic riff from songs like “Neophyte” and “Os Vultos” has enough quality to compete with the big names of Doom Metal genre.” In Sound(/)Zone Magazine

“It is with an excellent mix between sensual melody, anger and desolation that A Dream of Poe signs a work worthy of the biggest names of this genre. And it promises to be for posterity.” In Via Nocturna

"And when the growls start at "Liber XIIX", I get shivers down my spine, so empathic the vocals are sung. Great!" In Amboss-mag.de
