Advantage are primed to explode onto 2009’s underground music scene with the release of their self-titled debut EP through Cash For Pigs Records.
With a songwriting blueprint that blends a blistering and celebratory punk rock redolence with an effortless pop knowhow, Advantage exhibit a zeal for their music as energizing as it is compelling.
Formed in the Midlands from the ashes of ska punk outfit Grown At Home, Advantage are eschewing the syncopated rhythms of old and boldly pioneering their own genre – brass rock.
Their EP sees hook-splattered hits in waiting crafted by airtight rhythm sections, sordid distortion-laden guitars, and infectious smatterings of brass.
Having already fluttered their fledgling wings with extensive tour dates across the UK and Europe, Advantage are gaining momentum fast.
It can’t be long until this broiling concoction of big guitars and danceable brass spills over into mainstream success.
