Launched in 2007 by Tidal (Midlands, UK) and Galaxi (California, USA) Advection Music (AM), has been 5 years in the making. The label was set up to contribute to the deeper side of Drum 'n' Bass; and to cater for the many subgenre's often lost and forgotten in the mainstream today. AM is a global representation of the scene, releasing quality upfront progressive music for the mind & body.
This Trans-Atlantic collaborative effort, and since the launch of the label in 2007, AM are ready to release their next series of Deep Drum ‘n’ Bass music.
The debut independent release for Advection (ADV001) was a 12” by ‘Tidal’ with the tracks, ‘Gemini Force’ & ‘'Wisdom Tunnels’. This release sold out at BM Soho (formerly Black Market Records, London) & Redeye Records (Ipswich), and has been purchased by Drum ‘n’ Bass fans worldwide.
This release has received DJ support from some of the most respected DJ’s on the scene: LTJ Bukem (Good Looking Records), Nookie (Phuzion), Code (Subtle Audio), Survival (Creative Source), DJ Stunna (Defunked, Chicago), 0=0 (Synaptic Plastic), Pete Rann (Phuzion), Modemellow & Matizz (Camino Blue) and Chris Inperspective (Exit).

AM also organise and promote their own exclusive Deep Drum ‘n‘ Bass events in the Midlands under the name ‘Central Projection’ (CP). The CP collective were 'Hotfoot' residents at LTJ Bukem’s ‘Progression Sessions’ held every winter at Birmingham’s Custard Factory. Between 2004-2008.
Central Projection promotes the unique sound of AM worldwide and has so far reached the USA, Canada, Germany, and Mexico.
The next release (ADV002) is set to be one of the most anticipated 12” vinyl of the last few years, with an original track by Deep Gemini and the return of a legendary remixer on the flip.
Forthcoming CD compilations include the first LP release entitled 'Tomorrows Explorers :Volume 1', which will also be available in a DJ-friendly EP series, also look out for a series of digital EP’s, entitled ‘Planets Series’ and ‘Expeditions’ series out in Summer 2009.
