In no particular order, here are some musicians/artists that I have a large amount of respect for (you may also count the bands that they are associated with)...
Adam Jones, Wes Borland, Trent Reznor, Danny Lohner, Billy Howerdel, Matt Bellamy, Marilyn Manson, Dr. Steel, Tom Morello, Kurt Cobain, Rocco DeLuca, Jimmy Page, John Lennon, Harry Gregson-Williams, Hans Zimmer, Buckethead, Maynard James Keenan... Many artists and individuals, including people in my personal life who I won't name right now... Because there are too many of you. Basically if you know me, then you are on the list.
I decided to make my Top Friends a list of influences or bands/artists that I'm into at the moment, so feel free to check them out.
Sounds Like
A mixture of the artists I named and their associated bands as well as many other things. Hopefully I don't sound too much like them, otherwise what's the point of being an artist myself if I sound just like someone else?
My goal is simple: Do something creative and original with music that people will find refreshing compared to the radio-friendly dribble that is spewed in everyone's face on a daily basis.
What I basically want to do is any and all music that comes to mind, anything that feels good or feels right to me. So far this approach has brought about attention from various individuals who, I think, might have the wrong impression of me and how I operate. I've had offers for performances and collaborations (artistically and musically). It is extremely flattering but also makes me feel a little guilty because I am very far from being able to perform anything that I make here. I am merely crafting sounds at the moment. I suppose it's not entirely dishonest of me because that is where I'd like to be, but I'm not ready just yet. So, just a warning to anybody who is impressed by what they see and hear, I'm not everything that I may seem to be... But I want you to talk to me and I want you to tell me what you think and feel about what it is I do here. I like knowing there are people out there who I can move emotionally with just a few clicks of a mouse.
My name is NOT Will Matthews, but I'll tell you that it is anyway. I am a student attending Community College of Philadelphia as a Sound Recording and Music Technology major. I make most of my music there. I hope to have an Associate in Applied Science degree in SRMT by 2011. I'll update this information as necessary. For right now, just know that I have that as a major goal even though my previous experience is very limited, so I have a long way to go.

Yeah man, I've known TJ long before his YouTube days. He's a good guy, I've known him for a good 8 years. That's funny that you know about him... Even though he is getting quite a good amount of subscribers on YouTube now...
