With nods to Dashboard Confessional, Anberlin and Jack’s Mannequin, authenticity is an important part of the Adventure Land ethos, but with a rejection of hipster culture and faux indie fakery. Adventure Land want to speak to real fans with their music, not snobs: to deliver a fresh sound that speaks to their own peers.

And the fans are listening. After forming as young teens in 2007, Adventure Land have matured into one of Brisbane’s most exciting pop acts with their track “Hold My Hand” achieving spins on Rage as well as Austereo’s Radar Radio. They have toured around Australia and New Zealand playing shows to new converts and continue to attract the attention of both the industry and media.

Their second single (and opening track on their new EP) “The Eastern Sky” has already eclipsed this success, scoring them a distribution deal and a finalist position in Nova’s “I’m With The Band” competition. It also placed them in the final four in the inaugural Queensland Music Awards pop category ahead of over 300 entrants. The single hits radio this week before the EP “Part 1” hits stores on October 7 through MGM Distribution.
