With members and influences hailing from 3 different states, ADX is true east coast punkrock.
Formed in late 2007, the original line-up consisted of Gdx on guitar, Bad Eye Brian on bass, and Auggie V on drums, with Jimmy Demised providing vocals. Ugly Cubby was entered into the fray in February 2008 as a second guitarist. The band's first shows in the early spring of '08 made apparent some problematic artistic differences between members, resulting in Jimmy's departure as a friend.
Then, in fall of '08, Brian left ADX as a friend due to musical differences and will still remain involved in other ways.
Now, having defined their fast-paced, punk rock sound as a three-piece band, ADX is stronger than ever, building a library of pissed-off, politically charged, apology-free songs. Expect to see ADX at a show near you in the immediate future, as well as a record release sometime this year.
We would like to thank all the past generations of punks before us who have picked up the torch and pave the road for us now, and even more thanks for them handing the torch over so we can do the same for this next generation of youth. Never forget where you came from.
