The Delta Chapter was originally founded in the 1940's. After going inactive as a chapter twice, due to declining membership, it was once again refounded in Spring of 1996. It has been going strong ever since.
Delta holds Rush the second week of each semester; with events such as a formal teas, car rallies, and exchanges with our brother fraternity (ΑΓΩ - Alpha Gamma Omega). Check on the schedule for Rush events in the Fall/Spring. Every semester we have a retreat to offer the chance become better acquainted with all of your sisters! In the past, retreat has been held in places such as Tecate, Malibu, and Big Bear. We also hold an end of the semester banquet. It is a great excuse to dress up and have a fun with those who love you. :) This doesn't even include the dozens of birthday parties and other excuses we dream up to go out on the town or just hang out at the house.
We have a missionary project each semester. This is when the chapter focuses ..ing out the community. We have helped out at St. Vincet DePaul Shelter, the Lipinsky Childrens' Center, and the Tecate Mission School - to name a few.
The most important focus of our chapter is to strengthen our relationship with our personal savior, Jesus Christ, as individuals and as an organization. We strive to follow the Lord's will and keep ourselves in line, spiritually, with guidance from both our Devotional Chair and our Chapter Advisor. Each sister has been blessed in different ways through their involvement in our chapter and we praise the Lord for giving us this fellowship.
