AE Custom Guitars started about 5 years ago, with a sketch book, some spare time and a dream. I've honed my craft through research, design, and using basic tools to retain the honesty, clarity, and integrity of the voice of the guitar as an instrument, and as art. From that first guitar, "thank you" to the Les Paul double cut, I've never looked back to repeat a design, YET! My range has expanded to include solid-body and semi-hollow electric, bass and lap steel guitars. Each one made by hand in my garage, with attention to detail and design. I've had the pleasure to build a lap steel for Kris Lager which is featured on the Indigenous album Broken Lands, and my last guitar was a bass that I played on tour with The Josh Hill Band.
I put a lot of effort in to my designs, from the asthetical to the functional, so take a look, and feel invited to come play one for youself.

Hey there Andy! You guys have got a great sound! Your guitars look fantastic! When the new guitar urge hits me I'll definately look you up! Till then I'll see you on stage!
Mato Nanji loves the sound of the lap steel and has a song (or two) that he wants to record with us/ with CLAE. People across the world will soon be hearing the beautiful sound of your beautiful instrument. Thanks Andy.
Thanks Andy, he's playing CLAE right now and it sounds great! You are an artist my friend. Come watch him play it soon. I'm sure you can call in some Guest List favors from any one of us/ any time.
I'm not sure. If I had to guess, I'd say that the tiger is eating the jayhawk.
I like the woodwork on the new guitar. I particularly like your use of Cocobolo. Did you know that Cocobolo is so dense that it will not float? My advice: Don't take your new guitar to the pool, you're asking for trouble.

I love the new guitar. Excellent work. I'm in Lincoln until New Years and would love to come see it.
