I tend to read very few books, but when I do, I eat them like pistacios. Recently, I got about a 100 pages into Thomas Friedman's The World Is Flat, only to realize that it essentially was a biography of my career. I enjoyed all of Augusten Burroughs' books. Ate those up. About me:
I'm one of those people caught in the weird vortex between baby boomer and Gen X which means that I'm either too young or too old for everything. As a result, I participate in everything. So when I tell someone in their 40s or 50s that they can visit my MySpace site and (in the future) download some of the house music I'm tinkering with, they look at me with a rather confused and sometimes terrified look; whereas, when I tell my 20-30 something friends about my school age children, my business, or the sorry state of my 401(k), they run screaming for their mommies and daddies.
