Aenaon is a black/death metal band coming from Hellas (Greece).
Draugen and Thyragon had the idea for Aenaon in December 2005 with Draugen on guitars and vocals, and Thyragon on guitars and bass.
By the start of January 2006, Draugen begun the procedure of composing the music for Aenaon. Then, there was a long "dead" period, in which Draugen continued composing music.
In June 2006, Astrous (ex-Black Winter, Majeste Simphonia) entered the band and took care of the vocal and lyrical section. After that came another long "dead' period, in which Aenaon were
in search for a drummer. So it came for the time Vanghmar (ex-Enshrine, ex-Obsecration, Soulless, Soulskinner-session) filled the empty drummer slot at the end of 2006.
Aenaon begun to work their songs, and the first rehearsals were made... So in January 2007, Achilles (Varathron, Netherrealm) came "onboard" to fill the second guitar slot.
Finally with full line up, Aenaon performed a lot of rehearsals and started the recordings of their debut EP album in April 2007.
Meanwhile Aenaon made a mini tour in Greece with Nethescerial. The recordings have finished and right after the recording sessions the 2nd guitarist Achilles left the band.
A few weeks later Dagwn (Nethescerial) took the place of the 2nd guitarist.
Aenaon signed with the canadian Bleak Art Records in the beginning of 2008 and the "Phenomenon" EP will be released in 2008.
