Anything Sci-Fi. No horror unless it's done right and not just gore for gore sake, for me there has to be a point. My fav is 80's campy horror. I love the movie Slither it was hilarious. Romantic Comedies on a few and far between occassion. Any vampire movie even the bad ones. Favorite movies of all time are...Memoirs of a Geisha, Serenity, Star Trek Nemesis, The Blade Trilogy, all Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings
Television
Sci-Fi Channel is a must in my house. Ghosthunters, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Two Guys and a Girl, Star Trek TNG, and Little Britain. Right now I am loving The Dresden Files on Sci-Fi and Drive on Fox.
Books
I read more than I do anything and have since the age of 4. I read everything from Horror to Romance and again Sci-Fi is a must. Fav Authors ... Jim Butcher, Laurell K Hamilton, J.K. Rowling, Catherine Coulter, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Edgar Allan Poe, Mark Twain and Ray Bradbury. Fav Book of All Time ... Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury ( a must read for anyone and a classic)
Heroes
My grandfather ... he was my stepfather's stepfather and the only grandfather I have ever known. He had been a Air Force Mechanic in WW II and is the greatest man that I have ever known, he taught me more in life about life than anyone possibly could and will always be my hero even though he passed away in 1996 I always feel him near and know he is watching out for me. Love you Grandpa!!!
I would have to say that I am a very interesting person.
My interests vary to whatever catches my emotions. I write, paint, study religious
philosophies, love to travel and meet new people and try new cuisine, and learning all that
I can about the asian culture because their history is incredibly fascinating.
I have a fear of falling since I ran down a sliding board and broke my arm right
before my 6th birthday.
I collect collections, anything from the beanie babies of 7 years ago, to books I
love, and asian teapots.
I always choose tea over coffee because I like the taste. I can always be found with a
cup of steaming herbal tea whenever I'm near the computer.
Video games and electronics are the greatest things ever invented. Luckily I'm old
enough to remember Coleco Vision and played Atari with a madness. Very rarely am I ever
found without a gadget in hand or drooling over one at the electronics store. Forget clothes
and shoes I want something shiny that has bells and whistles.
I have a huge interest in the paranormal and have seen ghosts and shadow people since
I was 6. There is nothing like having a ghost walk right in front of you and look at you as
he goes. Everything drops in temperature and it feels like an ice cube is being run up your
spine. What's even cooler is seeing an invisible entity pick up a pile of books from the
middle of a desk and throw them around the room (true story...happened to me in
college.
Cuddling with my daughters while watching Disney movies is the greatest thing in life.
They are the most precious people in the world to me and for them I would do anything.
I have three tattoos ... two butterfly wings on my right ankle and a gothic sun
between my shoulder blades ... I'm always thinking of what I want next, but whatever I get I
have to design because I feel a tattoo is so personal that I want it to be from me.
Last but certainly not least acting. I have wanted to be an actress since I was four years old and watching Sesame Street. Unfortunately another things in life have evolved and I am now married with two small daughters and living far away from Cali. Community theater however rocks I'm hoping there will be something that I want to be involved in again this fall. I tend to be picky with what I want to do because of time constaints with a family. Acting will always be my love. I think I will always wonder what if until Im a very old woman.
