Situated 15 minutes from the centre of Carmarthen and within easy reach of the M4, Aeriel Studios occupies a large converted barn offering complete privacy and seclusion in the beautiful Cothi valley.The recently built control room combines a relaxed and spacious daylight environment with plenty of space for keyboards and control room performance. There is a broad range of both state of the art and vintage outboard equipment, extensive midi facilities and comprehensive monitoring. The recording area offers flexible acoustics and a wide range of microphones, with a Steinway grand piano, various guitar amps, bass amps and effects and an extensive array of percussion. There is a kitchen area with tea and coffee facilities, a fridge and microwave. The local pub, only a short drive away, offers an excellent menu, and B&B and self-catering accommodation to suit all budgets and requirements is available in the surrounding area. Transfers from 1/4”, 1/2”, analogue multitrack or DAT to CD or DVD are available, prices on request. Location recording services are available by arrangement. We have recorded everything from a 100 piece orchestra with 500 piece choir to string quartets and solo piano. Clients include Spiritualized, Elizabeth Fraser, Julian Cope, The Waterboys, Coil, Tigertailz, Howl Griff, Magenta and the BBC.
