Aeronaut began as a recording project between two friends from South Wales. The debut album 'Songs From The Outpost' features a unique blend of garage rock, electronica, prog and americana. Written, recorded, produced and mixed by Lee Jones and Paul Jackson in a home studio, the variety of styles which includes melodic pop, blues and country music was a labour of love resulting from an interest in outsider music. The album is warm and vibrant in parts due to its analogue production, but also has an edgy feel where the boys have gone for a lo-fi sound.
