Aeroplane Pageant is not a pop band all the time. Although, I get
strong intimations that if they could have one wish it would probably
just be this. I met these boys a couple summers back and am moderately
content with the natural progression of our current relationship. The
lot asked me to describe them in a biography due to the upcoming release
of their new LP Wave to the Moon, and so with God's good hands and a few
fifty bucks I've considered to fulfill their offer and speak about what
i know best. I think probably the best way to sum them up is that
they're not a pop band every single time. Also, what I've come to
realize, or better yet learn, is that with some certain enthusiasm you
can make the lead singer agree with basically anything you say. And
sometimes when I'm feeling particularly down on myself I'll tell him
that he is absolutely no good and of course he just haplessly laps it
all up. Poor little bitch, I say. Anyway these guys like making songs
constantly and they blame it on listening to old records by bands like
Guided by Voices, Velvet Underground, and Flaming Lips and a lot of
other bands whose names I forget. Belle and Sebastian maybe, but not
Modest Mouse. Additionally, they all like to talk about the love of
music and having a good attitude and spirit and trying to preserve this
some certain craft that was from way back when. And yes I'm beginning
to understand some of what they're saying, but honestly I tend not to
bend too easily with regards to any of these kitchen sink ideologies.
In good news no one in the band has any current drug problems and they
are willing to tour at any time. They all basically live on Long Island
and really like it there and if they can continue to afford it then
they'll stay there until the day they die. Fucking romantic fatalists
if you ask me.

wow...that picture is unbelievable. tis a shame you folks didnt hang in wisco a bit longer. you wouldve been able to watch me spend a whole day puking. hope y'all are having an awesome time.
