In a conservative cultural landscape such as Southeast Asia, few bands dare to venture into alternative music, let alone cutting edge synthpop/futurepop.
Aesgrade's music holds true to the definition of hard beats married to a symphony of soaring synths and driving guitars with lyrics that draw on philosophy, politics, integrating allegorical references that inspire the mind and entreats the thirst for revolution.
Aesgrade began as a collaboration between DJ Saito Nagasaki and producer Zero One. Even before their first release, Aesgrade has already found international recognition through opening sets with the likes of ALEC EMPIRE (Berlin, Digital Hardcore Recordings), Covenant's Eskil Simonsson (Sweden), Sheep on Drugs (UK), Interlace (Sweden), DJ Panic (Slimelight, UK). Through artistic pursuits, the band has also been involved with sound design for various films.
