Formed in 2006, the band Aesir comes to the world with a propose: to play different kinds of folk music mixed with the fast and aggressive Death metal. Its starter members was between 14 and 18 years old and none of them had ever played this kind of music.
After a short period of time, the band started playing its own music, with flute arrangements and some death/melodic metal characteristics. The lyrics are being inspired by the culture (mythology) and some tales.
All the members are living in Campinas (São Paulo) and are determined to face the music as a serious thing.
Formada em 2006, a banda Aesir vem ao mundo com uma proposta: tocar diferentes tipos de música folk misturados com toda velocidade e agressividade do death metal. A banda iniciou-se com membros entre 14 a 18 anos e nenhum deles havia tocado esse tipo de música antes.
Depois de um curto período, a banda começa a tocar suas próprias canções, com arranjos de flauta e outras características presentes no death/melodic metal. As letras vêm sendo influenciadas pela cultura (mitologia) e por alguns contos.
Todos os membros residem em Campinas (São Paulo) e estão determinados a encarar a música como algo sério.
Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.

So the summer holidays are about to end for my part... It has been the most eventful summer of my life and I wouldn't have been without a second of it :D First of all I went to Prague to have a great time with some friends (pictures are posted :P) then I should look after my brother's house while he was on vacation and my girl was supposed to come but she couldn't. Read more in my blog about this... So I went to Moscow to be with her instead (pictures are posted yes :D). Instead of posting a random picture I want to share a little of my own instead... Hope you don't mind too much :)
