Xian has been a member of many other bands, musical projects and jam sessions, playing many different types of sound generators for more than half of his life. He likes music - why define it unless for fun? That being said, AEsum is a pioneer artist working in the Ambient Schwapcore genre. So far a solo effort, AEsum incorporates MIDI and field recordings, adding textures with other instruments as needed. While the entire past catalog is instrumental, that's not necessarily the rule.
