Aeterna does not serve ideological pattern but presents the musical and visual output as an inspiration for the audience. Death is always the beginning of a new circle. Out of hopelessness arises a New Dawn. As the earth faces the end of resources and the destruction of nature, the loss of spiritual values and the total virtualisation of the all-day life, mankind experiences a self made inferno. We have to turn and find new ways… Aeterna is a prayer for these new ways. For new spiritual values to ignite the fire of enlightenment once more. To create something new out of the old roots. The Old Gods eventually may not return, but the Eternal Principle is still there. ----
The music of Aeterna is based on ritualistic and shamanistic structures, mainly acoustic sounds, and invoking chants – all based on the dualistic principle of male and female energy – Alpha & Omega. Konzept: Aeterna ist ein apokalyptisch inspiriertes Ritualmusik-Projekt aus Deutschland und wurde 2007 gegründet. Zunächst nur als persönliches Ausdrucksventil der Keimzelle Alpha und Omega gedacht, erregten die über MySpace zugänglichen Tondokumente bald größere Aufmerksamkeit. Und wenig später war für die infernalisch-finsteren Songs und Klangcollagen ein geeignetes Label gefunden: Thonar Records aus Augsburg. Das erste Album – betitelt mit „New Dawn“ – enthält 11 Songs, die sich mit Niedergang und Wiedergeburt von Kultur auseinandersetzen.
Aeterna bedient keine ideologischen Muster, sondern begreift den musikalischen und visuellen Output als Inspiration und Basis einer Auseinandersetzung für den Hörer. Jeder Niedergang bietet Möglichkeit einer Wiedergeburt, und die westliche Zivilisation ist momentan an ihrem Endpunkt angelangt. Die Erschöpfung der Ressourcen, die Zerstörung des natürlichen Lebensraumes, der Verlust spiritueller Werte und die totale Virtualisierung des Alltagslebens lassen sie in einem selbstgeschaffenen Inferno trudeln, dessen Ende schleichend aber unausweichlich kommt. Ein absolutes Umdenken ist erforderlich, und Aeterna klagt diese Notwende ein.
Aeterna steht für die noch glimmende Glut, das Licht der Erkenntnis neu zu entfachen. Es geht darum, alte Traditionen neu zu durchleuchten, um in ihnen die Knospen des Neuen zu entdecken und zu pflegen. Dabei geht es weniger um die Rückkehr der Alten Götter, als um ein Erkennen des universalen Prinzips - des ewigen Prinzips.
Als Ausdrucksmittel für diese ebenso skeptische wie utopisch motivierte Weltsicht dienen schamanistisch-rituelle Rhythmusstrukturen, akustisch erzeugte Klänge, invozierende Gesänge und grundsätzlich das dualistische Prinzip männlicher und weiblicher Energie.
Aeterna ist ein nachmodernes neo-schamanistisches und animistisches Kunstprojekt, angetreten, um die Dämmerung eines Neuen Morgen zu begrüßen.

We at Ur Muzik headquarters love Sweden... and we are proud to present our very first release ‘Zielona Góra’ by the well known Swedish acts Beyond Sensory Experience and Moljebka Pvlse. Both bands were invited in April 2008 to play a concert in Zielona Góra, Poland. After the concert the two bands joined together on stage and recorded the raw material for this release. This material was then taken to chilly Stockholm and reworked by the artists. The result is a monumental, 70 minutes long, dark ambient work that unifies the excellence of Beyond Sensory Experience and Moljebka Pvlse’s worlds. Released as a digipack and limited to 500 copies only.
