Aevum is hybrid/experimental metal band formed by Nicholas Martins (NickTup, Supremus Dies) and Carlos Civinski (Reator 6, Supremus Dies). The project started with a riff inspired in a more direct and melodic metal genre yet interesting and innovative. The band infuses many different elements in their music from eastern typical instruments, dark and obscure note progressions to modern forms of Death Metal, intensive progressive extensions resembling Post-Rock patterns and the technique of the most complex forms of Metal. The themes are related to cognitive biases, society and analogies about general human concepts.
