About A Fallacy Upon Us (Is on HIATUS)

A Brief update on the band:

So this is what happened to the band and whats going on lately.

Basically we had musical differences with Nick, things weren't working out and we decided to part ways with him. We ended up finding Jeff through some of our friends and he became our new drummer. He didn't fill the spot very well so that pretty much ended him. Nick was really never replaced. To top it off Anthony was planning on leaving the band for personal reasons leaving a spot open for vocals.

To sum it all up, things were done here and there but nothing to keep the band going. This is where we are now.

Mike, Dan, and Will have gone off and started a new project called "Pressures On". They've been doing quite well for them selves and are becoming a very established band. If you like hardcore be sure to check them out.

Anthony has moved down south to pursue a change in things. Recently he has been searching for a new band, something permanent with serious musicians but hasn't found the right people.

Nick and Jeff are currently doing w/e it is there doing, no one has been in contact with them lately.

Now, ideas have been going on for sometime now about doing a reunion. But for right now its just an idea.

A Fallacy Upon Us is a metalcore band from Ware, Massachusetts. The group was formed by vocalist Anthony Mazur, guitarist Mike Mazur, and bassist Dan Pajak in December of 2005. In search of a drummer, the band asked their friend Nick Jolly to take the position and he willingly obliged. About 2 months later they came upon a guitarist named Will Hirst, who tryed out and was immediately welcomed into the group. In the mid summer of 2006 drummer Nick Jolly parted ways with the band due to musical differences. They later found Jeff Pyzocha who took his place. The band is currently writing material for a EP that is set to be released in 2006. They will be looking for shows to play in the area in the near future, so be on the lookout for a band that's ready to throw down with the best of them.
