Romblon received international media attention when a ferry, Princess of the Stars carrying 800 plus passengers and crew ran aground and capsized in its waters last Saturday, June 21, 2008. At this very moment, Philippine authorities continue the search and rescue operations. Hundreds are feared trapped and dead in the vessel Typhoon Frank caused greater damage in other parts of the Western Visayan region, particularly in Iloilo province. As a result, the focus of the International emergency help is on this part of the country and to families of the ferry victims. It is understandable that less attention will be placed in provinces like Romblon that also sustained heavy damage.

An Appeal for Assistance for Romblon VictimsThe Philippines was recently ravaged by an unpredictable typhoon causing several hundred million pesos in damages and hundreds of deaths. My province of Romblon was also heavily damaged by typhoon Frank (International codename Fengshen). The typhoon brought havoc when all of a sudden changed course due north putting the province in its direct path.The province of Romblon is located in the central part of the Philippine archipelago. It is a cluster of 20 small islands, and has 17 municipalities with a total population of 270,000. The main sources of livelihood are fishing, farming, coconut and marble production. Romblon is one of the poorer provinces in the Philippines with per capita income of about $15 per month.

Let us pray for all the victims to recocer the soonest possible time and if possible please try to lend extra miles to our less fortunate "kasimanwa" who suffered a lot from this tragic event.

hey AFC, wanted to stop by and say again how awesome this weekend was having us unite, no doubt we did a damage on the enemies by fellowshipping and mos def enjoying having christ in the midst of it all, its always a pleasure to chill with ya's and wont be the last fo'sho, so anyways god bless and let the hunger blaze, Je' je' jesus!!!

AFC!!! It's this months FULL Friday coming up again... and well... it won't be the usual music concert head bangin' gangsters for Christ kind of deal... We're going to take advantage of our time together to PRAY HARD and WORSHIP HARD for our upcoming school year and our communities... so on and so forth... So keep this night up in prayer. I am blessed once again to have your praise team open up this friday night's service... as well as Elie & ivan will 'wrap' up the fellowship wit their sweet lyrics...

juss wanted to update....battlecry was AMAZING...there is nothing like 36,000 people gathering to worship God..and meeting with HIM in one place...
...it was an extra blessing to worship with Hillsong for two days...worship God at that time was juss like the song says..."the art of losing myself"...you could'nt express yourself more by jumping, raising your hands, dancing, or losing your voice cuz you're singing so loud...
my prayer is that this revival and fire would not burn out...OUR VOICE NEEDS TO BE HEARD AS CHRISTIANS...so we need to continue to evangelize...and be the SALT AND LIGHT OF THIS EARTH...
