Art, web development, and photography are my passions! I run my own business doing those things that I love. I do have some college education, but am self-taught for the most part. I believe in self-empowerment and also that you can do anything that someone else can if you just put your mind to it.
I am happily married to my husband, David (AKA "Shakes). We have been together for over 12 years!! Our path has been long and hard... one that most people could only imagine happened in a movie. But among our trials, we have learned and gained a huge understanding of each other and what it takes to make a relationship last.
My family is the most important thing in my life. I have been blessed to have such amazing parents! I don't know what I would do without them! I also have some of the most AMAZING friends a person couls ever hope for!
I am a huge DIY (do it yourself) fan. I hate asking for help and would just as soon find another way to get it done. So far I have tackled many huge/complex projects on my own and I am quite proud of them. My neighbor calls me "Mrs. Bob Vila". Haha!
I love to write. I write blogs a lot, content for websites, and also sell articles online. I am not afraid to speak my mind or be open about who I am and what I am thinking. Everyone wants to keep their lives private and... well... I don't care about that. We are all human and we all go through similar things. If someone wants to judge me negatively for any of it, good for them. No skin off my back. I am me and I am happy with that.
I love animals and often voluteer for the Capital Area Humane Society. I some times help the Animal Cruelty Investigation Unit and also help foster dogs/puppies in need.
Oh, and I want to mention this... I only use this profile to keep in touch with friends and family. I do not add bands, people in other states/countries that I will never meet, or anyone selling or advertising anything. If you want to connect to me for those reasond, then visit my business profile. Hey! I am asking all my photographer friends about camera recommendations. I am thinking of getting a Nikon D5000, heard any good/bad stuff about this one? I have been reading reviews, but it is just not the same as asking someone you know :) Thanks!
hey sweets...we r definately getn the bike out 2morow...we can cruise ur way. mayb get a bite 2 eat and we cld stick around and watch the band practice...u cld ride alone??? lmk! luv ya!

Yes, I figured. I messed up my life pretty good for about 4 years, into all of the horrible stuff you mentioned. Finally, I had to grow up for my kids and myself. Much happier without all the badness in my life. Glad you are doing good Jess! You deserve the best!
