Sometime between Spring and Summer of 07, is when now Afflicted singer/frontman Trey Houser began looking for musicians to start a band. After a few months of tryouts, live performances, and networking, he had done just that.
Afflicted quickly became a recognizable name to the Shreveport rock scene. By late Summer, his quartet was complete with cousins Jacob Ashby and Buddy Taylor, and their long-time friend and influential drummer Mike Hitt.
Buddy the lead Guitarist, has a lifelong blues background as does Mike and the two have played music together in their neighborhood garages since before their teen years.
Jacob tried out for the band before he actually owned a bass guitar, but within weeks was playing songs from memory and contributing ideas that would shape the Afflicted heartbeat and chemistry shared by the band.
Trey has the sole responsibility of booking and promoting this band, which unlike his voice lessons and singing career, he has learned completely on his own. Afflicted has been booked with touring bands, Junior, Squint, Outlaw Nation, and Miser to name a few and will continue to "think big" until all goals, both big and small have been met with success.

thats funny. my old band took a band pic inside of a bathroom stall. i was on the toilet with my pants down. adam dale was in the next stall down telling us how dumb we were. he was right.
