Zoé's Soulrockpsychedelic

Is an embodiment of several different elements, to create one organic orchestrated sound called the Soulrockpsychedelic. The elements consists of many genre of music, ranging from Rock, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Hip Hop, Latin, Afro Beat. Combined with a down to earth social commentary of every day people. “I am you, you are me” is what you would hear in Zoé’s music.

Zoé’s sound has two personalities…The first is the musical aspect, which is as simple as playing guitar and writing songs organically, to working in the studio and layering that same acoustic song on tracks. Creating a real full wave of the Soulrockpsychedelic. Which knocks on the door of the second aspect of the split personality, the technical element of song writing, the sound engineer the “Producer”.

Zoé fell in love with the studio and is a gear junky, like must producer can spend a lot of time working on songs in studio tweaking. Zoé’s is currently working on an album and producing song’s for Red slam—Spoken word crew—and other collaborations with friends, like Motion, A.K.O and a possible others later on in the 2010.

Zoé’s live performance also has a full sound, but with a minimal band. Zoé is the band, Zoé plays the guitar running through a series of FX pedals & Loopers, giving her performance a wall of sound that makes her songs sound percussive and melodic

“Zoé soon takes full control of everything in the room, upon coming to the stage. It's the purposeful way in which she, handles all the knobs and many buttons, of her guitar and sound set up, gathering the audiences interest, then, it's the first strum that keeps you there, as this one strum smoothly moves into a groove, that has you rocking in your seats. With her fingers flying across the guitar frets, bringing several voicing to the instrumental mix, it's almost like you are hearing more than one performer, as she combines herself playing on recorded tracks to what she in actually now, playing, it takes the audience a moment to figure this out as she is so in tune and synced up, it just seems a marvel. The true joy comes when along with these unique guitar accompaniments, Zoé chooses to speak her words, or wow us with her sultry tones.

Zoé's voice then take us on a historical journey of vocal techniques seldom used by today's contemporary singers, affirming Zoé as a vocal stylist, there is a storytelling quality in her presentation that seals the engagement, we the audience are now owned completely by her, and she's free to take I&I anywhere she chooses, relaxed, we trust these comforting familiar yet new sounds, and we allow her to drive on this incredibly energetic, yet non taxing smooth ride.
