I always listened mainly instrumenatal music, from classical to modern electronic. I prefer baroque and romantic composers in classical, and 70's electronic music. So I listen to Bach, Ravel and Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream as well. I also like the first works of Mike Oldfield and Jean Michel Jarre.
I've been listening to this music consistently for many years so for sure it has a major influence on what I do.
This said, I have hundreds of LP/CDs spanning many different music genres. So, do my gothic metal or free jazz CDs have an influence also? Oh, it could be.
Sounds Like
Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Mike Oldfield, Jean Michel Jarre
