    ..Was ist FishNamedMo?.... aFishNamedMo ist ein außergewöhnlicher Name für eine außergewöhnliche Band! Hier wird Musik gemischt, dass es eine wahre Freude ist. Erlaubt ist, was Spaß macht und damit werden Regeln und Grenzen schlichtweg ignoriert. Wer denkt, dass das Ergebnis daraus undefinierbar und für niemanden zu fassen ist, liegt falsch. Ganz im Gegenteil: aFishNamedMo hat seinen eigenen Sound gefunden und hat dafür auch noch einen Namen parat: ..progressive JazzFunk..!.. Anspruchsvolle Instrumentalpassagen treffen auf eingängige Gesangslinien, Komplexität trifft auf Einfachheit. Vertrackt aber nicht verkopft, denn Musik ist für die Seele!.. Das ist nichts für langweilige Ohren - also Finger weg, wer nix Neues erleben will! Auf alle anderen wartet eine spannende Welt Hier gibt es viel zu entdecken! .... ..Wer ist aFishNamedMo?.... Gegründet wurde aFishNamedMo 2004 von 4 Musikern aus der Pfalz, denen die normale Musik zu normal war. Mit dem Ziel, ihre eigenen Grenzen auszuloten, schrieben Saxophonist Felix Fritsche, Bassist Markus Vieweg, Keyboarder Steffen Schlösser und Drummer Daniel Götz eigene Songs und spielten erste Gigs. Durch eine glückliche Fügung traf Markus bereits ein halbes Jahr später die Sängerin Lena Scheel und es entstand eine Band irgendwo zwischen Instrumental- und Vokalmusik... Der Erfolg dieser Konstellation war überragend! aFishNamedMo spielten schnell überregional und auch bei, für Jazz völlig unüblichen, Locations und Festivals. Außerdem konnten sich die Newcomer bei "Jugend Jazzt" den ersten Preis erspielen, was sie endgültig zu erfolgreichen Wandlern zwischen zwei Welten machte. Kurz danach wurde die erste CD "New Shoes" produziert und veröffentlicht... Erst 2007 kam es personell bedingt zu einer Pause, Lena und Steffen verließen die Band. .... Nach etwa anderthalb Jahren Bühnenabstinenz wurde klar, dass die Musikwelt einfach mehr aFishNamedMo braucht! Genau deshalb wurden wieder neue Songs geschrieben und schließlich die einmalige Jana Hemmer und der unglaubliche Flo Stone in die Band geholt um die Bühnen dieser Welt wieder in alter Manier zu bespielen! .......... ..What is aFishNamedMo?.... aFishNamedMo is an extraordinary name for an extraordinary band! Influenced by all kinds of music, everything is allowed, as long as it's fun – which means that any rules and borders are constantly ignored. Who thinks the results are undefined and not within reach, is wrong. It's the opposite: aFishNamedMo have found their own sound, which also has a name: ..progressive JazzFunk..!.. Ambitious instrumental sections meet catchy vocal lines, complexity meets simplicity. Intricate but not overly intellectual – music is made for the soul!.. Beware – this is nothing for dreary ears - so hands off if you don't want to experience something new! All others will dive into an exciting world with a lot to discover! .... ..Who is aFishNamedMo?.... aFishNamedMo was founded in 2004 by four musicians from south-west Germany, who thought normal music was too normal. With the aim of taking themselves to their own limits, saxophonist Felix Fritsche, bassist Markus Vieweg, keyboardist Steffen Schlösser and drummer Daniel Götz wrote their own songs and played a few gigs. By fortunate coincidence, Markus met female singer Lena Scheel only half a year later, and a band somewhere between instumental and vocal music arose... The success of this constellation was outstanding! aFishNamedMo quickly played nationwide gigs also including unusual venues and festivals for a jazz band. At the German competition „Jugend Jazzt“ the newcomers won the first prize, which finally established them as successful wanderers between two worlds. Shortly after, their first CD „New Shoes“ was produced and released... In 2007, the band took a break in consequence of personal rearrangement, Lena and Steffen left the band. .... After about one and a half year of stage abstinence it became clear that the music world needed more of aFishNamedMo! This is why new songs were written and unique female singer Jana Hemmer and unbelievable keyboardist Flo Stone were added to the band lineup to rock the stage again!
