2007 AFNICA started to play in Osaka.
AFNICA, consists of Vocal、Piano、Trumpet、Double bass and Drum, is NU BEAT JAZZ BAND.
At first, our band concept was playing jazz, but that changed slightly over Time
We take in various elements of DUB, progressive rock and etc…
And in our live, we play with MC, sitar, and so on.
At the same time, we organize the event “Impression” every second month.
In this event, music and art fuse together to bring special space.
We want to pursue true meaning of jazz from now on.

2007年結成のVo、Pf、Tp、ba、DrでなるProgressive Nu Jazz Band。
結成1年、リリース前にもかかわらず雑誌やラジオに取り上げられ、 大型野外フェスのTHE GREEN ROOM FESTIVAL,FESTA de RAMA等に出演。
その勢いのあるライブパフォーマンスはフロアーを盛り上げ、 国内外の様々なアーティストに賞賛を受ける。
また、アルバムと同名の主催定期イベント"Impression"を結成と同時にはじめる。
"意表を衝く"、"他にはない"ブッキングと定評を受け、毎回大盛況を収めており、 大阪以外の様々な場所でも話題となっている。
ライブではシタールやMCなど枠にとらわれない様々なゲストとセッションを行い、 自分達の可能性を常に追求している。
