Afö is a 6 piece percussion band boasting a repertoire of traditional West African rhythms. Their upbeat, high energy music, full of driving beats and screaming solos will inspire the dancer in all of you. These energetic musicians recreate the African summertime experience; the Afö experience.

The band was founded 4 years ago by French djembe soloist FX Ruellan, with Marek, Ross, James and Paul all of whom are now based in Dublin.

Over the last years the band have broken into the rest of Europe, playing regularly in Belgium and France and are currently touring Ireland, appearing at such as events as the main stage in Dublin Castle for Africa Day May 2008 along with such show stopping acts as Kila and Sinead O' Connor.
