Influences	Chief Chebe is a Ghanaian musician living in Scotland. He shares his passion for his native Sissala music across many communities in Scotland, the UK and Europe. The music in this single is been greatly influenced by the spirit of the “Jengseng” a type of xylophone which is played by the Sissala and Dagaba tribes of northern Ghana and Burkina-Faso. The Jengseng is made with native hard wood and its amazing sound is produced by a fine layer of bamboo spider web which is used to seal deliberately made holes on gourds underneath the instrument.
Sounds Like	This celebratory music is aimed at a wide audience; Ghanaians, Africans and world people! The music is a blend of both traditional and modern Ghanaian dance and soul vibes. This tribute single is a great introduction to the complex and unrecorded music of the African xylophone tribes from northern Ghana. Appropriate for relaxation, spirituality and most importantly for awaking your natural rhythms on the dance floor. On the 6th of March 2007 Ghana will be 50years. Happy Birthday Ghana in advance! About Chief Chebe-

Thanks for stopping by and reading this message. My name is Chief Chebe and I am trying to connect with enough people to help build an eco-village in northern Ghana and setup a community base eco-economy for the Sissala and neighbouring tribes who have in the past suffered very badly from both slavery and colonial rule. We hope to build the eco-village in 2007 as a landmark for the bicentenary of the abolition of slavery in Africa and Ghana's Golden Jubilee…. Africa has many problems as we all know but I equally believe that our world today has more than enough solutions to tackle them and that is my biggest motivation!!!!!! I am optimistic that there are enough people in the world who would like to see a different situation for Africa and if you are one of them please join us in anyway you can to help improve livelihood opportunities in Ghana. Today, we can all think about two hundred years ago and reflect and take positive steps together to create a better picture for the future. We know better and should do better!!!
