My name is Aphrodite Ioannou and I was born in Athens in the summer of 1978. I am half greek / half english (mom). I live and work in Athens. Since I was young, I've been attracted to art, mainly drawing and sketching. I started experimenting with digital illustrations some years ago and realised how exciting it can be!
I am particularly interested in depicting emotions in my portraits. POP art is always a huge inspiration for me. Blowing some life into my characters is both empowering and liberating!
Most of the illustrations found in the Pics Section are also available in prints (various sizes). If interested, mail me for further info :)
I am also availabe for collaborations, group exhibs and creative projects in general.
If you are interested in a customised, original and fresh Digital Portrait, I think you are in the right place! All I need is a high resolution clear photo (higher resolution = more detail) and all you need is imagination so we can plan the ideal illustration for you! Check out my pics "Commissioned Portraits/Artwork" so you can get an idea.
