A banda AFTERAGE surgiu em 2006, da união de membros de bandas conhecidas no cenário underground Metal carioca.
Misturando várias influências dentro das ramificações desse estilo, a banda possui uma proposta inovadora, que combina peso, melodia e letras alarmantes, ao mesmo tempo em que retoma a energia e o lirismo do Metal.E a partir desses preceitos surge o AFTERAGE (essa palavra que utiliza a união entre 2 palavras:After – Que significa após,depois e Rage – Que significa raiva,rancor denotando a "causa e o efeito" das atitudes e pensamentos, e tendo ainda um significado ambíguo se na união das palavras "After" e "Age" que nos remete o conceito de Amadurecimento.) com o intuito de renovar e ao mesmo tempo unificar e explorar idéias comuns e tão impactantes na atualidade. Não se atendo apenas a um estilo ou assunto, mas abordando todos e fazendo um apanhado do melhor que há nesses segmentos.
Após várias reuniões e ensaios, nesse ano de 2007, AFTERAGE, entrou em estúdio, iniciando as gravações de seu 1º EP homônimo, e tem previsão de turnê de divulgação ainda nesse ano.

The band AFTERAGE emerged in 2006, the union of members of bands known in the underground scene Metal Rio.
Mixing various influences within the ramifications of that style, the band has an innovative proposal, which combines weight, melody and lyrics alarming at the same time that incorporates energy and lyricism of Metal.And from these precepts is the AFTERAGE (that word that use the union between 2 words: After - What after, and then Rage - What anger, hatred denoting a "cause and effect" of attitudes and thoughts, and taking yet one meaning ambiguous whether the union of the words "After" and " Age ", which refers to the concept of Maturing.) with the intention to renew while unify and explore ideas and as shocking common nowadays. It is not only given to a style or subject, but addressing all and doing an overview of the best there is in those segments.
After several meetings and tests, in that year of 2007, AFTERAGE, entered into studio, starting the recordings of his 1 st EP homonym, and has forecast, tour of disclosure yet this year.
