Taryn Ronning, the daughter of former NHL star Cliff Ronning, knew she loved to sing from an early age. Her striking vocal presence combined with an innate desire to entertain, make her a born performer, just like her dad. As AfterDark’s lead vocalist, Taryn doesn’t only bring the spirit, but the confidence and vocal chops to back it up as well.
It is impossible to classify AfterDark’s Mario Ferrari as just one thing. He is an accomplished drummer, a recording guru, and a master of remixing. From compressors, to EQ’s, to modular synths, Mario is your go-to-guy. When he’s not mixing in the studio, Mario plays a crucial role in producing the beats and keeping them steady.
After a lifetime of lessons and instruments, Eric Tso knows a thing or two about music. From dance tracks to rock songs to love ballads, Eric’s got musical composition down pat. To him, harmonization is second nature. The myriad of instruments and melodies found within AfterDark’s soundscapes fall directly from his hands to your ears.
Having just reached a plateau of maturity and professionalism, these twenty-year-olds are ready to establish themselves as serious musicians. AfterDark has, and will continue to push the boundaries that separate one genre from the next. Rest assured that they will not stop making music, as long as there are still people out there who are willing to listen.
