My name is Christien, born and raised in Toronto, Canada but in a french household. I manage and designed this account myself along with all my other profiles; Facebook, YouTube, Official Website, etc.
I've been a musician since I could reach the piano keys. In fact, prior to that I destroyed all my father's harmonicas which I suppose makes me a "smashing rocker". Nonetheless, my personal music collection ranges from; folk, rock, pop, hip hop, trip hop, classical, alternative, acoustic, and more.
I record everything you hear myself at home with my iMac and some hardware. The live performance can range from just myself with an acoustic guitar, to a full blown multimedia production including a digital backing band cued up by my midi foot controller accompanied by a live projection of stage plotted video cameras and stock footage I have shot myself.
This year is my year to awaken. I've been through hell and back with the death of a loved one and the loss of my first love. I had a tragic rebound, came to my senses and set sail on the path to self-improvement.
I express myself through my music, I share knowledge through my blog, and I entertain with my films.

When I make music, I make it how I want to and how I want it to sound, not for the purpose of being the next one hit wonder on MTV.

When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country.
But, it too, seemed immovable.
As I grew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it.
And now as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize: If I had only changed my self first, then by example I would have changed my family.
From their inspiration and encouragement, I would then have been able to better my country and, who knows, I may have even changed the world.
