關於我：
Hello Jeff!
We're THE AFTER SCHOOL CLUB, a comedy night in Camden that adores anything silly, surreal, weird, offensive, political, intelligent, playful, experimental, and all things outside the mainstream. If Jongleurs hate it, we love it. But don't tell your parents that you're coming, or we might all get in trouble!
We're upstairs at The Liberties Bar, 100 Camden High Street. Doors open at 8pm, and we start at 8.30pm. We run on the first and third Monday of every month. There's free cake, we have drawing competitions with boozy prizes free badges, and we all act a bit like children.
All the comics who play at our club love telling unusual jokes, to audiences that like their comedy to be leftfield, interesting and exciting. The acts are encouraged to bring new material, safe in the knowledge that they're playing to a wonderful supportive and glorious audience. We're all going to do our best, so please come down and support us!

OH NOES!!
There's no club nights for a little while - The After School Club is taking a very long holiday, because Jeff's just been slapped with a three year sentence for celery theft. The lawyers reckon he can get away with just doing eight months if he always stands on his tip-toes and sings the national anthem ten times a day. Personally, I think the lawyer is an idiot.
The club will definitely be back one day, probably early in 2009. Join this group anyway, so that when it starts up again, you can be the sixteenth person to know!

Alternative comedy fans!!
We want to meet comedy fans who love everything that we love, so that we can be ourselves, and not worry about being heckled by the City Boys. If you're as much of a comedy geek as we are, we want to meet you!
Too many comedy clubs are run for money, not for love. Too many clubs are run to massage the MC's ego. Too many clubs don't give out free cake. We think that all those things need to change. If you do too, then please come to our club!
