Sea City Rockband from Rauma,Finland. Once,somewhere,somehow two buddies, bassist Kimmo Saarikko and guitarist Jani Varjo, decided to put up a band together.
The collaboration of the two rockcerebral dudes started conveniently and rather easily, Jani had a nice bundle of tunes waiting for an opportunity to be published.
At the time the band got Markku Raappana for the drums, Mikko Lavila for the second guitar and coarsetoned rockcannon Kimmo Blomster for the vocals.
Almost immediately the musical line formed to such that almost each fellow on the band liked and to what was considered to submerge to genuine rockaudience.
At the beginning the band performed with the name "NeverEnding Nights", nevertheless, when the gigs increased the band decided to change the name to "After Wildfire".
At april 2007 the band made its first publication, an EP named "Rock´n roll cutie". These selfmade songs were recorded, mixed and produced by Kristian Sukari and Antti Marttala. This record containing honest southern rock was well accepted by the audience.
At april 2007 the band also went trough a change in the crew. The drummer Markku Raappana stepped aside and was replaced by Henkka Tukala from band named Andrion.At july 2007 they took keyboardist Risto Raivio to the band.
After Wildfires first published record answered the crews own expectations quite well. So far so good! Nevertheless After Wildfire is at its best on stage.Such rock has been done for live intention. Worthy to check out! The band does its very best on each gig.
Tasking their own songs, training and recordingsessions gives the boys a lot but they won´t forget the most important point, the audience, satisfied audience and spectators are significant! The engangement of the band continues, big wheels keep on rumbling and the engines buzzing!
